Cryogenic Nitrogen Plant

Liquid nitrogen plant is able to produce high purity LN2 with the use of cryogenic distillation process. It separates nitrogen from other gases present in the air through liquefaction of air at cryogenic temperatures (-300°F). Ambient air is compressed in the air compressor following which it is liquefied in a series of heat exchangers. Residual water vapor, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons and atmospheric contaminants are eliminated in the purification unit. Nitrogen as a product gas is further distilled in a low pressure distillation column to achieve purity up to 99.99%, which is adequate for industrial as well as scientific applications.
